Gas Furnace Startup

  • Inspect Heat Exchanger
  • Check gas pressure and adjust if necessary
  • Clean and inspect burner assembly
  • Clean and check ignition system
  • Oil motors and check amp draws
  • Check motor bearings for wear
  • Clean and check blower wheel
  • Check belts and pulleys
  • Check belts, change if necessary
  • Check all safeties and limits
  • Check condensate trap and clean
  • Check flue for obstacles and rust

  • Check freon level and system running pressure
  • Check amp draws on compressor and condenser fan motor
  • Oil condenser motor and check bearings
  • Pressure clean and inspect condenser coils
  • Check refrigerant lines for wear or leakage
  • Check thermostat
  • Oil blower motor and check amp draw
  • Clean blower motor
  • Check belts, change if necessary
  • Check filters
  • Check and change drain line if necessary
